These stories started as weekly emails to family — a way to share the history that Bill has spent a lifetime reading about and researching. From frontier life and the Civil War to family genealogy and the stories of the American Indians, each piece is written with the passion of someone who truly loves the subject.

This site exists so that these stories don't get buried in inboxes. They deserve a home on the internet where family and anyone with a love of history can read, share, and enjoy them.
